Alva Johnson said Trump grabbed her hand and leaned in to kiss her on the lips as he exited an RV outside a rally in Tampa on Aug. 24, 2016.
In a statement, White House press secretary Sarah Sanders dismissed the allegation as “absurd on its face.” https://t.co/A4BSLREmdG

A former staff member of Trump’s 2016 campaign has accused him of kissing her without consent. According to The Washington Post, Alva Johnson filed a lawsuit today. The lawsuit states the incident happened at a Tampa rally in August 2016. Johnson says Trump grasped her hand and would not let go. He leaned in to kiss her and kissed the side of her mouth as she tried to turn away. The White House press secretary is calling the claims “absurd.” The Washington Post was also able to obtain the lawsuit filed. The lawsuit indicates that there were other people in the RV at the time of the incident. Among the people inside the RV, was then-Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi. Johnson filed her lawsuit Monday in the Tampa division of the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida.
