Sheriff Chris Nocco held a press conference this morning where he said Rodriguez leaves behind a husband and three children. Campaign Claims

A former staff member of Trump’s 2016 campaign has accused him of kissing her without consent. According to The Washington Post, Alva Johnson filed a lawsuit today. The lawsuit states the incident happened at a Tampa rally in August 2016. Johnson says Trump grasped her hand and would not let go. He leaned in to kiss her and kissed the side of her mouth as she tried to turn away. The White House press secretary is calling the claims “absurd.”  The Washington Post was also able to obtain the lawsuit filed. The lawsuit indicates that there were other people in the RV at the time of the incident. Among the people inside the RV, was then-Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi. Johnson filed her lawsuit Monday in the Tampa division of the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida.

New Hillsborough Fire Station

A new fire station was opened on Monday in Hillsborough County. Newly-minted Fire station 32 is now the largest ever in Hillsborough. The new station will be home to both the hazmat unit and a special training team. The Hillsborough County Fire Rescue Chief says the station will help firefighters respond in a more rapid fashion. There is also the expectation of more stations being built as Hillsborough County continues to grow. The new fire station is located off Hillsborough Avenue and near Interstate-4 and Interstate-75.
