Humans Attacking Sharks
Two men have been accused of dragging a shark in a viral video. Robert Benac and Michael Wenzel are accused of torturing the animal.
Their attorneys, Courtney Ettel and Stephen Crawford, told a judge that more time is needed to prepare for the trial. The attorney said that the state prosecutors have yet to hand over all of the discovery material they requested. The next hearing is in December. The goal is to start the trial in January 2019 per request of the judge.
In the video, two men are seen laughing while pulling the shark with a rope and violently whipping it around.
